Congratulations to Team Tsunami for their gold medal division WIN in the Steveston, British Columbia dragon boat festival race.

​

Team Tsunami was among 72 dragon boat teams racing at the festival.  During the one-day festival, the team participated in 4 races - one 200 meter race and three 500 meter races.  Divisions were determined based on the outcomes of the first 3 races.  In the final race, the Mixed Class C Consolation division, Team Tsunami came in first place over 6 teams and won the gold.
